Description

A calming Japanese detox drink made with matcha, kombu, umeboshi, and ginger. The Japanese Mounjaro recipe supports digestion, energy, and overall wellness. It’s clean, simple, and perfect for daily use as part of a natural health routine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp matcha powder

  • 1 small strip kombu (about 2 inches)

  • ½ umeboshi (Japanese pickled plum)

  • ½ tsp freshly grated ginger

  • 1½ cups hot water (not boiling)

Instructions

  • Soak kombu in warm water for 10 minutes until soft.

  • In a ceramic bowl or mug, whisk matcha powder with hot (but not boiling) water until frothy.

  • Add the softened kombu, umeboshi, and fresh ginger to the matcha.

  • Let steep for 2–3 minutes.

  • Stir gently, strain if desired, and enjoy warm.

Notes

For beginners, swap umeboshi with ½ tsp apple cider vinegar.

Use fresh ginger over powdered for best results.

Avoid boiling water—it will burn the matcha and reduce its health benefits.

Best consumed in the morning or before meals.
